FAQ's About IPRTW

Are You Local? - Yes. We operate out of Bonney Lake. We have lived in the area all of our lives. Scott was born in Enumclaw and Rosalie's family moved there from Redmond when she was 8. Both attended many of their school years there. We were married in Enumclaw also.

Where is your store? - We do not have a retail storefront, just our website. Most experts feel that the retail store is a dying breed. I do not necessarily agree with that but I do believe the way people do business is changing. People like to shop from the comfort of home. "If Pets Ruled The World" has combined the finer points of retail shopping and E-commerce into one.

Who does your deliveries? - We do. All of your orders are received locally and delivered by us or our employees. We do not use UPS or FedEx like most other internet retailers. The cost of shipping food is outrageous. If you go to one of those two big pet store websites and order a bag of food, the shipping is almost as much as the purchase price. Not at "IPRTW". Delivery is included in the price.

Where do you get your products? - Most of our products are supplied by local wholesalers. We do not buy from E-Bay or anything crazy like that. Your products are the EXACT same products you would get if you went to a retail store and spent your time and gas to get there. As a matter of fact, if you order food from us, it is probably fresher than that of some retailers where the food sits on the shelf for a while before it is purchased. We work on a "Just In Time" inventory system that gets you the freshest product possible.

How do you chose which foods to carry? That is easy. If it is good for your animal, we carry it. Obviously we can't carry every brand of food that is good for your pets. Food containing corn and/or by-product are not good for your animals. Several very popular foods have one or both in the first 5 ingredients. By-product is actually very disgusting what falls into this category and our pets have greater difficulty in digesting it. Corn is a filler used to make pet food production costs smaller. Your pets do not digest corn which means more waste for you to clean from your backyard. Check your ingredients. Are you feeding a healthy food?

Do I have to be at home for my delivery? No. We will leave it on your front porch unless you request it to go somewhere else. We have customers who have no cover from the weather on their front porch. We have delivered to back porches, garbage cans, milk boxes and neighbors houses. We have also placed garbage bags over the bags of food to protect them from the weather. Your needs are our concern and we want you to be happy with our service.

I am not comfortable shopping online. How can I become a customer without putting my credit card information on the internet? Not everyone is comfortable with online shopping. Although we can assure you our website is secure, we also understand online shopping is not for everyone. Call or email us. We can work out other options of payment. We have customers who do not use credit cards at all and only use cash or checks.
